The Cancer Council and SunSmart recommend wearing a hat that covers your face, head, neck and ears to minimise the risk of sun damage to the skin and eyes. 

Hat guidelines include:
- Legionnaire hat must have a flap covering the neck. The side flap and front peak must meet to protect the face.

    How to measure:
    Use an existing garment and place it flat on a surface. 

    Measure chest from armpit to armpit.

    Measure length from the top of the shoulder to the bottom of waist.

    Ensure you check the garment you are purchasing to see if it is a kids fit, unisex fit or ladies fit garment and follow the measurements below.
